All of the Hawaiian Islands are beautiful tropical paradises, and each one has their own unique personality. All of the islands are popular for tourists, and all of them have plenty of great things to keep you occupied. Maui, in particular, is a very hot tourist spot. The following are four things that you are going to love to do on your trip to Maui.

Atlantis Submarine Adventure

A ride on the 48-passenger submarine will take you beneath the blue waters just off Maui. Each ride is a one of a kind experience, and the marine life you see on each trip is going to be different. You can see eels, lobsters, tropical fish, turtles, and even sharks. During certain times of the year, you may even be able to catch migrating whales – seeing them underwater is a far different experience than seeing them breaching the surface of the water. The submarine trip lasts about an hour and at times goes to depths of 100 feet.

Surfing

Even if you have never climbed atop a surfboard and caught a wave before, you can learn while you are on your vacation in Maui. You can find plenty of different instructors who can teach you the basics of surfing so you can paddle out and catch a few waves. Hawaii is famous for surfing, and you really can’t take a trip to any of the islands without trying it at least once.

Attend a Luau

What experience could be more iconic than attending a real Hawaiian luau? Authentic dancers, great food, and unparalleled entertainment make for a great time for everyone in the family.

Horseback Riding

Taking in the majesty of this tropical paradise from the back of a horse is a great experience. Ride through the rainforests, across the fields, and past waterfalls, and then have a picnic lunch before riding back. You cannot experience anything like this on the mainland. You can choose from several different ranches and types of horseback trips, which will take you through varied terrain.

There are so many great things to do in Maui that this barely scratches the surface. No matter what you do on the island, you are sure to have a great time. Chances are, there will be so much to do that you are going to want to return on your next vacation.
